PHP, Symfony and Drupal migration at a fixed price.

PHP 8.2 no longer receives security fixes after 31 December 2026 and Drupal 10 reaches end of life on 9 December 2026. Sooatek migrates your application at a fixed price, one work package at a time, comparing its behavior before and after.

§ 01 / Deadlines

Fixed dates, tool-assisted migrations.

Security support ends on known dates. Better to plan the migration than to suffer it.

PHP 8.2 Security fixes released

31 December 2026 End of security support After that, a newly found vulnerability is no longer fixed.

  • PHP 5.6 – 8.2 to 8.3 / 8.4
  • Symfony 3 – 6 to 7.4 LTS
  • Drupal 7 / 10 to 11
  • Node Current to LTS

We migrate applications from PHP 5.6, Symfony 3 and Laravel 7: inventory, frozen user journeys, before/after comparison.

PHP2Shell: check your version, the mitigation, the fix

§ 02 / What you receive

A migrated application, validated one work package at a time.

  1. An inventory of the PHP versions actually served, extensions and dependencies
  2. A test bench: the application replayed as is before migration, its user journeys frozen
  3. Tool-assisted migration (Rector, PHPStan), on a branch of your Git
  4. A before/after comparison of the user journeys, one work package at a time
  5. A go-live approved in writing, with rollback planned

§ 03 / How it works

An inventory, a test bench, a migration in packages.

  1. Inventory

    Step 1: What actually runs

PHP version served, framework, modules, configuration: recorded on the existing system.

  2. Before

    Step 2: Test bench

The application replayed as is, its critical user journeys frozen.

  3. In packages

    Step 3: Migration

On a branch of your Git, package after package, compared with the previous behavior.

  4. Go-live

    Step 4: Approved in writing

    Human review, backup, rollback planned.

Unusual application: start with the 48-hour Diagnostic

§ 04 / Not included

What the migration does not cover.

Frequently asked questions

What happens after 31 December 2026?

PHP 8.2 no longer receives security fixes. Your application keeps running, but a vulnerability found afterwards will not be fixed. PHP 8.3 is supported until 31 December 2027.

Is Drupal 10 affected?

Yes: Drupal 10 reaches end of life on 9 December 2026. We offer Drupal 11 as the target, with the same before/after test bench.

How is the price set?

A recent version upgrade (PHP 8.2 to 8.3 or 8.4, Symfony to 7.4 LTS, Drupal 10 to 11) falls under the entry option, an older version under the other option; the written quote sets the price. If the application is unusual, the 48-hour Diagnostic sets the fixed price before work starts.
