Pillar 01 · Digital

Applications, platforms, migrations: delivered at a fixed price, on your Git.

Sooatek builds and maintains custom applications and platforms (Symfony, Next.js, Drupal, iOS and Android), migrates PHP, Symfony and Drupal versions reaching end of support, and automates their production releases. Fixed price, written quote before we start, up to 3 times cheaper than the European market for the same standards. PHP 8.2 loses security support on 31 December 2026, Drupal 10 on 9 December 2026.

§ 01 / What we do

Build, migrate, deploy, maintain.

Four trades in one team: the people who write the code release it to production and maintain it.

  1. Custom applications and platforms

Business tools that replace a spreadsheet, portals, multi-client platforms, iOS and Android apps with in-app purchases. Delivered one work package at a time, demonstrated at each one.

  2. PHP, Symfony, Drupal migrations

From PHP 5.6, Symfony 3, Laravel 7 or Drupal 7 to a maintained version: inventory, before/after test bench, Rector and PHPStan, rollback planned.

  3. Infrastructure and DevOps

A deployment pipeline with rollback, Docker containers where useful, HTTPS and security headers, monitoring, automated backups and a written restore procedure.

  4. Maintenance with SLA

Security updates, nightly monitoring of dependencies and CVEs, requests tracked in your client area, response times written into the contract.

§ 02 / Offers

Five fixed-price offers, on quote.

Every project starts with a 48-hour Diagnostic, deducted if the project is signed within 30 days. Scope and price are written before we start.

§ 03 / Deadlines

Dated ends of support: know them, then migrate in time.

A version that no longer receives security fixes stays open to every flaw discovered. PHP2Shell was a reminder on 21 October 2026: no fixed version exists for PHP 8.1 and earlier.

End of support of common PHP, Drupal and Symfony versions
VersionEnd of security supportProposed target
PHP 8.1 and earlier Already reached (no PHP2Shell fix) PHP 8.3 or 8.4
PHP 8.2 31 December 2026 PHP 8.3 (until 31 December 2027) or 8.4 (until 31 December 2028)

What we can show.

We only name a client with their written approval: the cases below are anonymized.

  • Method

    A before/after migration bench

We migrate applications from PHP 5.6, Symfony 3 and Laravel 7: inventory of the versions actually served, frozen user journeys, behavior compared before and after the migration.

§ 07 / Questions

Frequently asked questions.

How much does a custom application cost?

The fixed price is set by a 48-hour Diagnostic, deducted if the project is signed within 30 days: scope, work packages and price are written before we start.

PHP 8.2 gets no more fixes after 31 December 2026: what should we do?

Migrate to PHP 8.3 or 8.4, often together with the framework (Symfony 7.4 LTS, Drupal 11). The upgrade is a fixed-price engagement, with behavior compared before and after on a test bench and a planned rollback.

Can you take over an application built by another provider?

Yes, after a 48-hour Diagnostic of the existing code: versions actually running, dependencies, risks, and what must be fixed before adding features.

Do you host our applications?

No. Hosting stays in your name and at your expense, on your premises or with a European host (OVHcloud or Scaleway, for example); Vercel or Google Cloud are possible. We set up deployment, monitoring and backups, then maintenance if you wish.

A project to scope, an application to migrate?

Describe it in a few lines: we get back to you in writing with a first opinion and the possible next step, starting with a 48-hour Diagnostic.
